Thank you to all of our whanau for attending tonight's 'Meet the Teacher' evening. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening with you all and look forward to working together this year. Many thanks for filling out the aspirations sheets which will be proudly displayed in our rooms - please return these to school as soon as possible if you took them home to complete.
Today Rooms 20, 22 and 24 had an enjoyable day at the Museum learning about 'Our place - The Horouta and the first meeting in Turanga of two people and Taonga Puoro - Traditional Maori Instruments. Rooms 19 and 21 will be heading to complete the same lessons next week. Half of our team will be following these lessons up with a historical walk run by our Museum educators and completing some pre camp assessments at the Olympic Pool. We will be archiving this learning in digital format using our individual student blogs that we are in the process of setting up. Here are a few snaps from our first museum excursion.
