This morning our students went to a fantastic presentation about 'Attitude' The presenter Dan was highly engaging and passed on many positive messages to our tamariki. Some of these messages included
Six tips for being a good friend
1: Be friendly
2: Remember names
3: Learn to listen
4: Be positive
6: Be yourself
Dan also spoke about the difference between girls and boys and how they form their friendships. Did you know girls speak on average of 15,000 words a day and boys on average 6,000 which means when they form a new friendship, boys are likely to do it by being active whereas girls will do it via talking. Our children found this very amusing. Dan also covered some myths about friendship and how to be a good friend. Overall it was a very entertaining and positive session.
