Kia ora Koutou,
This Friday the 8th April Turanganui Syndicate will be celebrating all of our students who have remained in Green Zone this term by spending the remainder of the day after visiting the Museum for our ANZAC lessons at the Botanical Gardens, playing games and enjoying each others company. The children also have the option of ordering pizza for their lunch should they wish or they are most welcome to bring their own lunch along. We would love to have some of our whanau accompany us so if you are free please let your child's teacher know.
We would would like to invite our Turanganui whanau to come and attend our kapa haka extension class on Friday the 15th April to see what we have been learning with Papa Pura which is the last day of term. This shortened class will be followed by a couple of performances showcasing some of our learning this term as well as a mini end of term prizegiving for our team. We will then have a shared brunch together and then you are welcome to depart. Kapa Haka extension begins at 10am and will go until 10:30am followed by our other events. More info regarding the venue at school will come out next week.
Finally, if you have not yet confirmed a learning conference time with your child's teacher, please make contact with them at your earliest convenience. We would love to share your child's first term progress, discuss their term 1 report that is going home next Thursday and set some goals for the remainder of the year.
